Unox soup and smoked sausage

Unox is one of the most iconic Dutch food brands, deeply integrated into the culinary culture of the Netherlands. Founded in 1937, it was originally established by the firm Hartog's, which later became part of the Margarine Unie (a precursor to Unilever). The brand is most famous for its 'Rookworst' (smoked sausage) and various traditional Dutch soups.

Manufacturing primarily takes place in the Netherlands, notably at facilities in Oss. The brand is a staple for winter dishes like Snert (pea soup). While it was a flagship Dutch brand for Unilever for decades, it is now part of the CVC Capital Partners portfolio following the carve-out of many of Unilever's food brands into the independent company known as Upfield or through direct acquisition deals. However, it is currently managed under the umbrella of CVC Capital Partners' food investments.
