Camden Hells Lager

Camden Hells is the signature product of the Camden Town Brewery, founded by Jasper Cuppaidge in 2010. The beer was famously created as a hybrid of two classic German styles: the Helles and the Pilsner, aiming to provide a crisp and refreshing profile that the founder felt was missing from the London market at the time.

Originally starting in the basement of a pub in Hampstead, the brand grew rapidly and established its primary brewing operations in the railway arches of Kentish Town, London. In 2015, the brand was acquired by the global brewing giant Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), which facilitated the opening of a second, much larger high-tech brewery in Enfield to meet international demand.

Today, Camden Hells remains a staple of British craft-inspired brewing. While it maintains its strong London identity and still operates its original brewery in Kentish Town for special releases and community events, the majority of its production takes place at the Enfield site, ensuring it remains deeply rooted in the UK manufacturing landscape under the stewardship of one of the world's largest beverage companies.
