Zuidam Dutch Courage Dry Gin

Zuidam Distillers is one of the last independent distilleries in the Netherlands that still processes all its ingredients in a traditional and artisanal way. Founded in 1975 by Fred van Zuidam, the distillery is located in Baarle-Nassau and has built a global reputation for high-quality genevers, gins, and whiskies.

The brand is unique for its 'grain-to-glass' philosophy, using Dutch windmills to grind their malted barley and copper pot stills for small-batch distillation. Unlike many large-scale commercial spirit brands, Zuidam remains a family-owned and operated enterprise.

Currently, the distillery is managed by the second generation of the Zuidam family, with brothers Patrick and Gilbert Zuidam overseeing production and commercial operations. This independence allows them to maintain strict control over their recipes and aging processes without the influence of a large international beverage conglomerate.
