Starting around 2023, Toshiba underwent a massive corporate restructuring, leading to its delisting from the Tokyo Stock Exchange and its acquisition by a domestic consortium led by Japan Industrial Partners (JIP). Global production is distributed among several countries, including Japan, China, and Vietnam, depending on the specific product line. It is important to note that many consumer goods featuring the Toshiba logo, such as televisions or home appliances, are now operated via brand licensing agreements by other multinational corporations like Hisense or Midea.
