Eve Energy smart plug

Eve Energy is a smart plug and power meter designed for the smart home market. Originally launched as part of the 'Eve' brand by the German company Elgato Systems, it was later spun off into its own entity, Eve Systems. The brand is known for its focus on privacy and seamless integration with smart home ecosystems like Apple Home (using Thread and Matter technologies).

In 2023, the Swiss electronics brand ABB acquired Eve Systems to enhance its smart home portfolio. While the brand has its roots in Munich, Germany, where the development and engineering still take place, mass production of the hardware is primarily carried out in China to scale for global distribution.
