The Uriage brand was officially founded in 1992 and has since become a global leader in the dermo-cosmetics market. All products, including the Hyséac line, are formulated and manufactured in France to ensure strict pharmaceutical quality standards and to maintain the integrity of the Uriage Thermal Water used as a core ingredient.

In 2011, Uriage was acquired by the Puig group, a Spanish-based multi-brand luxury and beauty conglomerate. This acquisition allowed the brand to expand its international presence while remaining a key player in the pharmacy-based skin care segment globally.
