Acqua Vera Naturale mineral water

Acqua Vera is a historic Italian mineral water brand founded in 1979 in San Giorgio in Bosco, Padua. The brand is known for its multi-source strategy, bottling water from different springs across Italy (such as San Giorgio in Bosco, Altavilla Irpina, and Castrocielo) to ensure local distribution and reduce environmental impact.

Originally a family-owned business, it was acquired by the Nestlé Group in the late 1990s. However, in 2020, as part of a strategic shift, Nestlé sold the brand to AQUA S.p.A., a company led by the Italian entrepreneur Pierluigi Tosato. Today, Acqua Vera is once again under Italian ownership, maintaining its status as one of the most recognized and consumed water brands in the Italian market.
