Flötzinger Bräu is a historical private brewery based in Rosenheim, Bavaria, Germany. Tracing its roots back to 1543 when it was granted a brewing license by the Duke of Bavaria, it stands as the oldest and only private brewery remaining in the city of Rosenheim. The brewery has been owned by the Steegmüller family for generations and is celebrated for its traditional Bavarian brewing methods and high-quality ingredients.
Today, Flötzinger remains an independent family enterprise, avoiding acquisition by large multinational beverage conglomerates. Its products are brewed strictly in accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot) and are deeply integrated into local culture, most notably as an official supplier to the Rosenheim Autumn Festival (Herbstfest).
