Landliebe dairy products

Landliebe is one of Germany's most recognized dairy brands, originally established in 1980 by the Südmilch AG consortium. The brand was created to represent high-quality, traditional dairy production, famously marketing its products in distinctive glass bottles and jars. For decades, it was a flagship brand of the Dutch cooperative Royal FrieslandCampina after they merged with Südmilch.

In April 2023, the brand underwent a significant ownership change when it was acquired by the Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller. As part of this transition, the new owners announced plans to streamline production, including the scheduled closure of the long-standing Heilbronn and Schefflenz production sites by summer 2026. Production is being integrated into other facilities within the Müller Group's extensive network across Germany to maintain the brand's presence in the market. Additionally, some specific product lines, such as fresh milk in glass bottles, are produced under license by regional partners like Schwarzwaldmilch, while Landliebe ice cream is manufactured through a long-term partnership with Froneri.
