Aviko Frozen French Fries

Aviko is a Dutch food company specializing in the production of frozen potato products, including French fries, hash browns, and potato ready meals. Founded in 1962 by 32 potato growers in Hoog-Keppel, Netherlands, Aviko has grown to become one of the world's largest potato processors, operating in over 110 countries. The name "Aviko" is an acronym derived from "Aardappel verwerkende industrie Keppel en omstreken," meaning "Potato processing industry in Keppel and the surrounding area." In 2002, Aviko became part of Royal Cosun, a modern agricultural cooperative with approximately 8,400 growers. This partnership has enabled Aviko to expand its production facilities across multiple countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland, and China, processing over 2 million tonnes of potatoes annually.
