Norma supermarket

Norma is a German discount supermarket chain that has grown from a regional store to an international company since the 1980s. Founded in the 1960s, it now operates over 1,300 stores across Germany, France, the Czech Republic, and Austria. The company focuses on offering a narrow product line of high-turnover foods at low prices, similar to other large German discount supermarket chains such as Aldi and Lidl. In December 2011, Norma restructured into a foundation-based company to ensure long-term stability and continuity beyond immediate family generations.
