VanMoof e-bike

VanMoof is a Dutch company specializing in high-quality electric bicycles with minimalist designs. Founded in 2009 by brothers Taco and Ties Carlier in Amsterdam, the company initially focused on traditional city bikes before transitioning exclusively to e-bikes. Their products are manufactured in Taiwan and sold in 32 countries, with flagship stores in cities such as Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, London, Tokyo, and New York. In July 2023, VanMoof filed for bankruptcy, and in August 2023, it was acquired by Lavoie, an e-scooter maker and subsidiary of British automotive technology company McLaren Applied. This acquisition aimed to stabilize and grow the VanMoof brand.
