Puleva is a household name in Spain, famously known for its innovative dairy products aimed at different life stages. Founded in Granada in 1910 under the name Uni3n Vin3cola Industrial, it transitioned into the dairy sector in the mid-20th century, branding itself as Puleva (an acronym for 'Pura Leche de Vaca' or Pure Cow Milk). The company was a pioneer in developing functional milks, such as Omega-3 enriched varieties.

Today, Puleva is manufactured primarily in Spain, with its main historical facilities located in Granada. Since 2010, the brand has been under the ownership of the Lactalis Group, a French multinational that is the largest dairy products group in the world. The acquisition cemented Lactalis's leadership in the Spanish dairy market, while maintaining Puleva's identity as a Spanish-heritage product known for quality and nutritional health.
