Brora Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Brora Single Malt Scotch Whisky is produced at the Brora Distillery, located in the Highland region of Scotland. Established in 1819 by the Marquess of Stafford, the distillery was originally known as Clynelish. In 1968, a new distillery was built adjacent to the original site, also named Clynelish, leading to the renaming of the original distillery to Brora. The Brora Distillery operated until 1983, after which it was mothballed. In 2017, Diageo announced plans to reopen the distillery, and production resumed in 2021 following a substantial investment. Brora Single Malt is renowned for its lightly peated Highland style, with production capacity of 800,000 litres per year.
