Carpineto Chianti Classico Riserva is a distinguished red wine from the Chianti Classico region in Tuscany, Italy. Produced by Carpineto, a winery renowned for its commitment to quality and tradition, this wine is crafted primarily from Sangiovese grapes, with possible additions of Canaiolo and other red varietals. The winemaking process involves maceration of the grape skins and fermentation under controlled temperatures, followed by aging in a combination of French barriques and Slovenian oak casks for at least one year. Afterward, the wine is briefly transferred to stainless steel tanks before bottling. Upon bottling, it undergoes further aging in temperature-controlled cellars, enhancing its complexity and depth. The result is a wine with an intense ruby red color and garnet reflections, offering an elegant bouquet with persistent aromas of vanilla and raspberry. On the palate, it is long, velvety, full-bodied, generous, and warm, making it an excellent companion to roasts and game dishes.
