Enpal is a Berlin-based German greentech company founded in 2017 that provides integrated renewable energy solutions for households, primarily focusing on the sale and installation of solar (photovoltaic) systems, heat pumps, energy storage systems, and electric vehicle chargers. The company has evolved from offering solar panel subscriptions to delivering a full suite of carbon-free energy solutions, including a proprietary smart energy management platform and a virtual power plant that connects distributed home energy assets.

Enpal is recognized as a market leader in rooftop solar and home decarbonization in Germany, serving over 90,000 households and managing more than 260,000 distributed energy resources as of 2025. Its rapidly growing product portfolio and innovation in areas like energy trading and AI-based energy management have helped establish Enpal as one of Europe’s leading renewable energy unicorns.

The company was founded by Mario Kohle, Jochen Ziervogel, and Viktor Wingert. Early investments came from Lukasz Gadowski, a prominent entrepreneur and venture capitalist, and several board members of the Zalando fashion conglomerate. In 2021, Enpal achieved "unicorn" status, being valued at over a billion dollars. As of 2024, the company has expanded its operations to Italy and continues to lead in the European renewable energy sector.
