Rab insulated jacket

Rab is a British manufacturer specializing in clothing and equipment for climbing and mountaineering. Founded in 1981 by Scottish climber Rab Carrington, the company began by hand-stitching and selling sleeping bags from his attic in Sheffield, UK. Over the years, Rab expanded its product line to include insulated jackets, waterproof jackets, baselayers, sleeping bags, and tents, all designed with cold weather in mind. The company emphasizes the use of high-quality materials, such as European goose and duck down certified to the Responsible Down Standard, and applies fluorocarbon-free water repellence treatments to reduce water saturation. In 2007, Rab Carrington retired, and the company was acquired by Equip Outdoor Technologies, which also owns the Lowe Alpine brand. Equip Outdoor Technologies is headquartered in the UK and continues to uphold Rab's commitment to quality and innovation in outdoor apparel and equipment.
