Tuborg Beer

Tuborg beer is one of the most recognized international beer brands, originally founded in Denmark. In Romania, it is produced and distributed by United Romanian Breweries Bereprod (URBB), also known as Tuborg Romania. The brand entered the Romanian market through a Greenfield investment in Pantelimon, making it the only major brewer located directly in the Bucharest area.

The global brand is owned by the Danish multinational Carlsberg Group, which oversees its expansion into international markets. Tuborg is known for its iconic pull-off cap and its significant association with music and cultural festivals worldwide. In Romania, the local subsidiary produces not only the flagship Tuborg brand but also other international names under license, contributing significantly to the regional beverage industry.
