Henry vacuum cleaner

The Henry vacuum cleaner is a renowned cylinder vacuum cleaner produced by Numatic International, a British company established in 1969. The brand was introduced in 1981 and has since become the UK's most popular and reliable vacuum cleaner, with over 16 million units produced as of 2024. The vacuum is distinguished by its red cylindrical design and a smiling face, featuring a hose connector or hose as its nose. Initially manufactured in Beaminster, Dorset, production moved to Chard, Somerset, in 1990, where it continues today. Numatic International also operates subsidiary production facilities in other parts of Europe and the world to support overseas expansion, including Paris, France; Johannesburg, South Africa; Germany; and the Netherlands. The company remains privately owned by its founder, Chris Duncan, MBE, who has been recognized as one of Britain's top entrepreneurs.
