Victoria Málaga beer

Victoria Málaga beer, commonly known as Cervezas Victoria, is a renowned lager beer originating from Málaga, Spain. Founded in 1928 by Luis Franquelo Carrasco, the brewery was established on September 8th, the feast day of the Virgin of Victory, from which the beer derives its name. The initial brewery was located in the El Perchel neighborhood of Málaga. In its early years, the brewery produced over 15,000 liters of beer daily, distributing primarily in Andalusia and neighboring Morocco. During the Spanish Civil War, the brewery faced significant challenges but managed to resume operations in 1937. In 1996, production in Málaga ceased, and the brand was acquired by the Damm Group, a prominent Catalan beverage company. Today, Cervezas Victoria continues to be produced in Spain, maintaining its strong ties to Málaga's heritage and culture.
