Fazer Kina Snacks are a beloved chocolate-covered wheat puff confectionery widely popular in Northern Europe. Originally introduced by the Swedish brand Mazetti in 1961, the brand became part of the Fazer portfolio after Fazer acquired Mazetti in 1975.
The product is manufactured in Finland, where Fazer maintains its core production facilities. Fazer remains an independent, family-owned company headquartered in Helsinki. Despite the 'Kina' name (which means China in Swedish) and the iconic straw hat imagery used in its branding for decades, the product is a Nordic creation with no direct manufacturing links to Asia.
