Double Cola Company Jumbo Cola

Jumbo Cola is a fruit-flavored soda produced by The Double Cola Company, a family-owned beverage manufacturer based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The company was established in 1922 as the Good Grape Company by Charles D. Little and Joe S. Foster, who initially marketed a grape-flavored soda. In 1924, the company relocated to Chattanooga and rebranded as the Seminole Flavor Company. During this period, they introduced Marvel Cola, which was later reformulated and renamed Jumbo Cola. The Jumbo Cola line includes various fruit flavors such as grape, strawberry, peach, blue cream, orange, fruit punch, pineapple, and root beer. In 1933, the company perfected the formula for Double-Cola, their flagship product, which was marketed in 12-ounce bottles—double the size of the standard 6-ounce bottles at the time. The company underwent several ownership changes, including a significant acquisition in 1981 by K.J. International, a London-based company. Under K.J. International's ownership, the company expanded its product line to include energy drinks and coconut water. Despite these expansions, Jumbo Cola remains a core product, cherished for its classic fruit flavors and nostalgic appeal.
