Lünebest Yogurt

Lünebest is a long-standing German dairy brand with its origins in the city of Lüneburg, Lower Saxony. Founded in 1952, it became famous for its iconic pointed-cup yogurt (Stichfest), which evolved into a variety of fruit yogurts and specialty dairy desserts. For several decades, it was a prominent staple in German supermarkets, known for its regional heritage and high-quality milk processing.

Following several ownership changes over the years, including a period under the Nestlé umbrella, the brand's production facilities in Lüneburg were eventually closed. In 2024, the brand was acquired by the Müller Group, ensuring that Lünebest remains a part of the German dairy landscape. While the original factory no longer exists, the brand continues to be produced within the extensive manufacturing network of its parent company, maintaining its presence in the competitive European dairy market.
