The game was invented by Thomas Bisgaard during a family vacation in Denmark, where he combined elements of traditional games to create a new, engaging experience. Since its release in 1998, PARTNERS has become a beloved classic in Denmark, known for its blend of strategy, teamwork, and a bit of luck. In 2023, to celebrate its 25th anniversary, a special edition titled "PARTNERS 25 ÅR" was released, featuring new cards and enhanced gameplay, offering both new and seasoned players an exciting twist on the original game.
