Wilkinson Sword is a British brand established in 1772 by Henry Nock in Shotley Bridge, County Durham, UK. Initially known for manufacturing firearms, the company expanded its product range to include swords, bayonets, and later, personal care items like razors. In 2000, production of razors was moved from the UK to Germany, and in 2014, most production was further relocated to the Czech Republic. In 2003, the brand was acquired by Edgewell Personal Care Company, an American multinational specializing in personal care products. As a result, Wilkinson Sword operates as a subsidiary of Edgewell, with manufacturing facilities in multiple countries to meet global demand.
