The Candlelight Club

The Candlelight Club is a pop-up Prohibition-era speakeasy in London, offering immersive 1920s-themed parties at secret venues. Founded in October 2010 by Clayton Hartley and an American hospitality professional, the club recreates the atmosphere of a Jazz Age speakeasy, featuring live jazz bands, retro DJs, cabaret performances, and period-appropriate cocktails. Each event is held at a secret location, revealed to guests two days beforehand, and is entirely lit by candles to enhance the vintage ambiance. The club has evolved over the years, incorporating a growing element of cabaret and collaborating with London's network of creative performers to provide a night of vintage entertainment. In 2022, The Candlelight Club was recognized as the Best Pop-Up Party Venue at the Greater London Enterprise Awards.
