Eriba Touring Caravan

Eriba is a renowned German brand specializing in the design and manufacture of lightweight, aerodynamic caravans. Established in 1957 by Erwin Hymer and engineer Erich Bachem, the brand's inaugural model, the "Ur-Troll," set the standard for compact and efficient travel trailers. The name "Eriba" is derived from the initials of Erich Bachem, reflecting his pivotal role in the company's inception. Initially, Eriba caravans were produced in France until 2009, after which production was relocated to Germany at Hymer's headquarters in Bad Waldsee. This move allowed for enhanced manufacturing capabilities and integration with Hymer's established operations. In 2019, the Erwin Hymer Group, which encompasses the Eriba brand, was acquired by Thor Industries, a leading American manufacturer of recreational vehicles. This acquisition expanded Thor Industries' global footprint and reinforced its position in the European market. Today, Eriba continues to produce a diverse range of caravans, including the popular Eriba Touring series, known for their distinctive design and quality craftsmanship.
