Autumn Crisp grapes

Autumn Crisp grapes, also known as Sugra35, are a late-season seedless green grape variety developed by Sun World International, LLC, a global fruit genetics and agriculture technology company based in Palm Desert, California. In the 1980s, Sun World crossbred varieties such as Italia, Muscat of Alexandria, and Dzhidzhigi Kara from Turkmenistan with seedless types like Sugraone to create a range of grape cultivars, one of which became Autumn Crisp. After an 11-year development period, the first commercial production began in 2012. These grapes are characterized by their large, round berries with a pale green-yellow skin and firm, crisp flesh. They are sweet with a subtle muscat aroma and are harvested from late September to mid-October in the United States. Due to their excellent storage potential, they are available in markets from August to October. The Autumn Crisp variety is grown in various countries, including the United States, Mexico, Chile, Italy, South Africa, and Australia, ensuring year-round availability in different hemispheres. The grapes are typically sold under the AUTUMNCRISP® brand, which is a registered trademark of Sun World International, LLC.
