Sanex is a well-known personal care brand that focuses on skin health and hygiene. The brand was originally established in Denmark in 1984 by the company Ceres, later becoming part of the Sara Lee Corporation. Sanex is distinctive for its dermatologically-focused approach, often formulating products without harsh chemicals to respect natural skin processes.
In 2011, the brand was acquired by Colgate-Palmolive from Unilever (who had briefly held it after acquiring Sara Lee's personal care division). Today, Sanex products are manufactured in several locations across Europe and globally to meet regional demand. The brand remains a major player in the European personal care market under the stewardship of the American multinational Colgate-Palmolive.
