Biobio Gouda cheese

Biobio Gouda cheese is a premium organic product crafted from 100% Canadian milk sourced from family farms in Quebec. The company, Gattuso, established in 1936 in Montreal, initially focused on distributing European food products before venturing into cheese production. In 2004, Gattuso introduced the Biobio brand, emphasizing organic and sustainable practices. The Gouda variant is a young, mild-tasting soft cheese, free from lactose, animal rennet, GMOs, and gluten. It is produced in two cheese factories located in the Chaudière-Appalaches region and Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean. While the primary production is in Canada, Biobio also imports certain cheeses, including Gouda, from Europe, ensuring a diverse and high-quality product range.
