Skælskør Frugtplantage Jordbær Grød

Skælskør Frugtplantage is a historic Danish brand with roots dating back to 1899, when it was founded by the Heilmann brothers in the town of Skælskør. Originally pharmacists, the brothers began growing fruit and berries on land belonging to their pharmacy to supplement their income, eventually leading to the creation of one of Denmark's most beloved fruit processing brands.

Today, the brand is owned by Good Food Group A/S, which acquired it in 2000. While the physical orchard in Skælskør is now operated separately, the fruit products—including jams and this strawberry porridge (Jordbær Grød)—are produced at Good Food Group's dedicated factory in Tårs, North Jutland, Denmark. The brand holds the prestigious title of 'Supplier to the Royal Danish Court,' a distinction it has maintained since 1960.
