Mentisan nasal care balm

Mentisan is a legendary ointment widely considered a national symbol of Bolivia. It was invented in 1937 by Ernesto Schilling Huhn, a German immigrant who founded Droguería INTI in La Paz. The name is a portmanteau of the Spanish words 'menta' (mint) and 'sanar' (to heal).

The product is primarily manufactured at Droguería INTI's pharmaceutical plants in Bolivia. Although it has achieved international recognition and is exported to various countries, including Germany, its production remains deeply rooted in its country of origin. The brand is still owned by the Schilling family through Droguería INTI S.A., which continues to operate as one of Bolivia's most prominent pharmaceutical companies.
