La Quinta Esencia is a premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil produced in the heart of the Sierra Mágina region in Jaén, Spain. This specific 'Cosecha Temprana' (Early Harvest) variety is crafted from Picual olives harvested in early October to capture the most intense green fruitiness and antioxidant properties. The product is certified under the Sierra Mágina Denomination of Origin (D.O.P.), ensuring strict quality control and traditional production methods within a specific geographic area known for high-altitude olive cultivation.

The brand belongs to the Santísimo Cristo de la Misericordia cooperative, founded in 1952 by local olive growers in the town of Jódar. This cooperative model means that the ultimate owners are the roughly 700 local farmers who make up the organization. They have transitioned from a small group of growers into a modernized enterprise that focuses on sustainable practices and international excellence, winning numerous awards for their 'La Quinta Esencia' line. The production and bottling take place entirely within their own mill facilities in Spain.
