Today, Mimosa is owned by Lactogal Produtos Alimentares, S.A., which is the largest agri-food company in Portugal and one of the major dairy groups in the Iberian Peninsula. Lactogal was formed in 1996 through the merger of several major Portuguese dairy cooperatives, including Proleite/Mimosa.
