Langnese Cremissimo Bourbon Vanille ice cream

Langnese Cremissimo is a well-known premium ice cream brand in Germany, celebrated for its smooth texture and diverse flavor profiles. The brand Langnese itself has a rich history dating back to 1935 when Karl Seyferth imported the first ice cream on a stick from Denmark to Hamburg. By 1936, the Langnese-Eiskrem GmbH was formally established and quickly became a major player in the European market.

Since 1960, the brand's main production hub has been located in Heppenheim, Germany, which evolved into one of the largest ice cream factories in the world. For decades, Langnese was a core part of the Unilever portfolio. However, in a significant strategic shift, Unilever demerged its ice cream division in late 2025.

Starting from early 2026, the brand is owned by the newly formed independent entity, The Magnum Ice Cream Company (TMICC). This new company, headquartered in Amsterdam, now oversees Unilever's former global ice cream portfolio, including iconic brands like Magnum, Ben & Jerry's, and the regional 'Heartbrand' labels like Wall's and Langnese.
