Tyrrells Mature Cheddar & Chive Potato Crisps

Tyrrells is a premium British snack brand founded in 2002 by William Chase, a farmer based at Tyrrells Court Farm in Leominster, Herefordshire. The brand quickly gained a reputation for its hand-cooked potato crisps, often featuring eccentric, vintage-style packaging and emphasizing local sourcing of ingredients.

Since its inception, the company has undergone several changes in ownership. After being owned by private equity firms and briefly by the US confectionery giant Hershey (via Amplify Snack Brands), Tyrrells was acquired in May 2018 by KP Snacks. KP Snacks itself is a major player in the British snack market and is a subsidiary of the Intersnack Group, a leading European snack manufacturer headquartered in Germany. Today, Tyrrells continues to manufacture its signature crisps primarily at its original home in Herefordshire, while also operating production facilities in other international markets like Australia to serve local consumers.
