Falcon Export is a classic Swedish lager beer, deeply rooted in the brewing traditions of Falkenberg. The brand was founded in 1896 by John L. Skantze under the name Bryggeri AB Falken. The beer is famously brewed using pure spring water from the same source in Falkenberg discovered by the founder over 120 years ago.
Over the decades, ownership of the brand transitioned through several major entities. In 1977, it was acquired by Pripps, which later merged with Ringnes. Since 1996, the Falcon brand has been under the stewardship of the Carlsberg Group, one of the world's leading brewery organizations. Today, Falcon remains one of Sweden's most recognizable beer brands, maintaining its historical production site in Falkenberg while benefiting from the global distribution and resources of its Danish parent company.
