Valensina Orange Nektar

Valensina is a prominent German fruit juice brand with a long history. It was originally founded in 1966 by Rolf Dittmeyer, who famously became the face of the brand in German television commercials. The name 'Valensina' is a portmanteau of 'Valencia' (the famous Spanish orange-growing region) and 'Apfelsine' (the German word for orange).

Today, the product is manufactured at Valensina Group's production facilities in Germany, primarily at their sites in Mönchengladbach or Vechta. The brand has seen several ownership changes over the decades, including a period under Procter & Gamble. After being bought back by the founder and facing financial difficulties, it was acquired by the Sportfit Group. As of the mid-2020s, the Valensina Group has returned to being a fully owner-managed German family business under the leadership of the Mocken and Müller families, following the exit of previous external investors like Thailand's Boon Rawd Brewery.
