Fry's Orange Cream

Fry's Orange Cream is a storied British chocolate bar with roots stretching back to the 18th century. Originally created by J. S. Fry & Sons, a company founded by the Quaker Joseph Fry in Bristol in 1761, the brand is credited with pioneering some of the world's first solid and filled chocolate bars. The Orange Cream variant is a direct descendant of the original Fry's Chocolate Cream launched in 1866, featuring a smooth orange-flavoured fondant center enrobed in rich dark chocolate.

In 1919, J. S. Fry & Sons merged with its long-time rival Cadbury to form a joint holding company. Over the following decades, the Fry's brand was fully integrated into Cadbury's operations. Following the 2010 takeover of Cadbury by the American conglomerate Kraft Foods (which later became Mondelēz International), the historic Somerdale factory in Keynsham, where Fry's products had been made for nearly a century, was closed in 2011. Since then, production of Fry's Orange Cream has been relocated to Poland to serve the UK and Irish markets.
