The product prominently features the 'Produceret i Danmark' (Produced in Denmark) label, indicating its local manufacturing origin.

The brand 'Salling' was originally established by Ferdinand Salling in 1906 as a draper's shop in Aarhus. Over the decades, under the leadership of his son Herman Salling, it grew into a massive retail empire known as Dansk Supermarked, which was later renamed Salling Group in 2018 to honor its founder. Today, the company is entirely owned by the Salling Foundations (Købmand Herman Sallings Fond and Købmand Ferdinand Sallings Mindefond), ensuring that a significant portion of the profits is reinvested into Danish society through donations to culture, sports, and social work.
