Opies is a historic British brand specializing in a wide range of gourmet pickles, preserves, and cocktail garnishes. The brand is famous for its signature products such as pickled walnuts, cocktail cherries, cocktail gherkins, and stem ginger in syrup.

Founded in 1880 by Bennett Opie, the company initially started as a provisions merchant in London before moving to Sittingbourne, Kent, in the 1920s to be closer to the local cherry orchards. Today, the brand continues to manufacture the vast majority of its product line at its original factory site in Sittingbourne.

Ownership has remained remarkably consistent; the brand is owned and operated by Bennett Opie Ltd, which is a fifth-generation family-owned business. It is recognized as one of the oldest private family-owned food companies in the United Kingdom, maintaining a reputation as the 'Pickle People' due to their century-long expertise in preservation.
