CLEANmaxx is a well-known household brand in Germany, specializing in innovative cleaning solutions ranging from electric brushes to steam cleaners and manual tools. The brand is a core part of the product portfolio of DS Produkte GmbH (now part of the DS Group), a company founded in 1973 by Dieter Schwarz (not to be confused with the Lidl founder).

Historically, the brand gained significant traction through TV shopping and retail partnerships across Europe. While the brand is German by origin and design, the manufacturing is primarily outsourced to the Far East, specifically China, a strategy established by the founder early in the company's history to ensure competitive pricing. In 2021, the parent company DS Holding was acquired by The Social Chain AG, which at the time was led by CEO Georg Kofler and DS Produkte's own Ralf Dümmel, a famous investor from the German version of 'Shark Tank' (Die Höhle der Löwen). Currently, the brand remains under the umbrella of the DS Group, which is now integrated into a larger e-commerce and social commerce ecosystem.
