Specifically, Ornua Deutschland operates a production and packaging facility in Neukirchen-Vluyn where Irish butter is reworked and blended with ingredients like rapeseed oil to meet local consumer preferences for spreadability.

The brand is ultimately owned by Ornua Co-operative Limited, an Irish dairy cooperative owned by Irish dairy processors and, by extension, Irish dairy farmers. This structure ensures that the profits and brand value remain within the Irish agricultural community.
