Softis tissues

Softis is a well-known brand of paper tissues, originally established in Germany. It became famous for being the first to introduce four-ply tissues to the German market in the 1970s. The brand was originally created by the German company PWA (Papierwerke Waldhof-Aschaffenburg), which later became part of SCA (Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget).

In 2011, as part of a strategic divestment, the Softis brand was acquired by the Sofidel Group, an Italian multinational company and one of the world's leading manufacturers of paper for hygienic and domestic use. Today, Softis products are manufactured across Sofidel's various European production sites, primarily in Italy and Germany. The brand remains a staple in the personal care aisle, recognized for its softness and durability.
