Caffè Vergnano is one of Italy's oldest and most prestigious coffee roasters, with a history dating back to 1882 when Domenico Vergnano opened a small apothecary in Chieri, near Turin. The brand remains deeply rooted in its Italian heritage, with its primary manufacturing facility located in Santena, Italy. Over more than 140 years, the company has grown from a local business into an international brand, known for its slow-roasting process and high-quality espresso blends.

In recent years, the brand entered a significant strategic partnership. In 2021, Coca-Cola HBC acquired a 30% minority stake in Casa del Caffè Vergnano S.p.A. This deal positioned Coca-Cola HBC as the exclusive distributor for Caffè Vergnano products in territories outside of Italy. Despite this investment, the Vergnano family continues to manage the company and maintain a majority stake, ensuring that the brand's traditional values and family-led legacy remain at the heart of its operations into 2026 and beyond.
