F.C. København Lion Statue

The image features the iconic lion sculpture of F.C. København (F.C. Copenhagen), a symbol of strength and courage that has been central to the club's identity since its founding in 1992. This specific three-dimensional interpretation was created in collaboration with the innovation house MOEF and is displayed at the FCK Experience and Fan Shop at Parken Stadium. The lion motif is deeply rooted in Danish heraldry, drawing inspiration from both the Copenhagen city coat of arms and the national coat of arms of Denmark.

F.C. København was established through a superstructure merger of two historic clubs, Kjøbenhavns Boldklub (KB) and Boldklubben 1903 (B1903). While the club operates as a professional football entity, it is part of the larger Parken Sport & Entertainment group. In 2023, the football operations were moved into an independent partner company, F.C. København P/S, to further strengthen its commercial and sporting ambitions, though it remains fully owned by the parent group.
