Knorr Soße zu Schweinebraten is a classic German pantry staple, designed to provide a rich, hearty gravy for traditional pork roast dishes. The product shown is a convenient '3er Pack,' containing three individual sachets that each make 250ml of sauce.
The Knorr brand traces its roots back to 1838 when Carl Heinrich Knorr founded the company in Heilbronn, Germany. Initially specializing in drying vegetables and spices to preserve flavor and nutrition, Knorr pioneered the first dried soups and the iconic bouillon cube. Today, while Knorr is a global powerhouse sold in over 90 countries, its heritage remains deeply German, and many of its core products for the European market are still manufactured in Germany, specifically at its historic site in Heilbronn. Since 2000, the brand has been a flagship of the British-Dutch multinational Unilever, which manages Knorr as one of its multi-billion-euro 'Power Brands.'
