Löfbergs Mellanrost is one of the most iconic coffee blends in Sweden, produced by the family-owned company Löfbergs (formerly Löfbergs Lila). Founded in 1906 by brothers Anders, John, and Josef Löfberg in Karlstad, the brand has grown into one of the largest coffee roasteries in the Nordic region.

The coffee is primarily roasted at the company's state-of-the-art facilities in Karlstad, Sweden. While the beans themselves are sourced from various international regions such as South and Central America and East Africa, the processing, roasting, and packaging for the Swedish market take place locally. To this day, the company remains under the ownership of the founding Löfberg family, now spanning multiple generations, maintaining its headquarters and core production in its original hometown.
