Coppo wine

Coppo is one of Italy's most historic and prestigious wineries, established in 1892 by Piero Coppo in Canelli, within the Piedmont region. The brand is globally recognized for its deep roots in the production of Barbera d’Asti and Moscato d’Asti, as well as its iconic "Underground Cathedrals"—historic wine cellars carved into tuff stone that were designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014.

All Coppo wines are produced in Italy, specifically in the Monferrato and Langhe areas of Piedmont, where the company manages approximately 52 hectares of estate vineyards. The winemaking process, from crushing to aging, takes place in these historic facilities. While the winery remained family-run for over 120 years, a significant ownership change occurred in 2021 when the company was acquired by the Dosio Group (Dosio di La Morra), owned by the Lanci-Soldadino family. This acquisition was aimed at preserving the brand's traditional heritage while leveraging broader resources for international expansion.
