Alouette is one of the key private-label brands of the German drugstore giant Rossmann. Introduced in 1996 as part of Dirk Rossmann GmbH's strategy to offer high-quality alternatives to established brands, Alouette specializes in a wide range of paper-based hygiene products, including toilet paper, tissues, kitchen rolls, and napkins.

While the brand is rooted in Germany and managed from Rossmann’s headquarters in Burgwedel, the production is distributed across various facilities, often within the European Union, to serve Rossmann’s extensive retail network across Europe. Ownership of the brand is tied to Dirk Rossmann GmbH, which is a joint venture; the Rossmann family maintains a majority 60% stake, while the remaining 40% is held by the Hong Kong-based A.S. Watson Group.
